Squeeze on those short shorts and dig your old sneakers out of the shed, we’re heading out to play with Holiday Ghosts, as they share their new video for ‘Walk For Hours‘. The stand alone single gears up for a full-length record from the Falmouth gang, who are setting out to release an LP this year.

Full of their jangling chords and off-kilter harmonies – ‘Walk For Hours‘ sees drummer Katja Rackin take the vocal lead to tireless heights as the group bound through melancholic ties with their indefatigable hooks. It’s the best medication for exorcising the darker feelings of emptiness, as the band figure out the standing point between misplacement and exuberance to full effect.

Walk For Hours‘ is streaming from Wax Music today, ahead of the band’s show this evening at The Fallow Cafe in Manchester, where fellow favourites Thee Mightees and Beach SkullsRy Vieira are in support. The band are also set to play Sheffield and Bristol on the tour over the next couple days. Check out the dates and listen to ‘Walk For Hours‘ below.
