Following on from their sweet sweet debut EP ‘Melt’ would be no easy feat for Stockholm’s lo-fi pop trio Magic Potion, but some early signs are suggesting that the group are going to have no trouble pulling it out of the bag with their first record proper in ‘Pink Gum’.

‘Milk’ was everything we wanted to hear from the returning Swedes, a brace of fuzzy warmth in their guitar here, a dose of nostalgic memories of simple times there, it hit at the perfect time – spring’s just around the corner, lets get ready for summer.

The group have now dropped the second single from the record, ‘Cola Boyys’, the tape reel still running on memories of hanging out in the sun – backed by those woozy guitars. “had a nosebleed / on your skateboard // fried our brains out / in the sun.”

‘Pink Gum’ is released 29th May via PNKSLM & Beech Coma – listen to ‘Cola Boyys’ below.
