Remember when we said a while ago that Gillbanks would leave a mark? Well with new single ‘Childhood’ – set for release through Communion’s Singles Club – the four-piece from London via Falmouth are set to confirm those suggestions.

‘Childhood’ has all the hallmarks of their first record ‘Lived-In’ (lost treasure), yet with more focus, cohesiveness and experimentation. The track is a wave of imbalance, yet manages to sound so crisp and to the point. While the group rally from minimalistic daze to biting noise, Sam Gillbanks is the priority, his voice not just a instrument but the controller of the track.

‘Childhood’ is available now through Communion Singles Club – listen to the track below. Gillbanks are set to play The Great Escape, Field Day, Gold Sounds and Citadel festivals this year.
