Delicious Clam, the novel independent label and studio from Sheffield that’s collectively ran by Best Friends, Nai Harvest and more, have announced details of an all-dayer. The show is set to take place at The Moth Club in London on the 28th November.
Since their first release this year, the label has come to embody the enthusiastic ethic of the music they release – all the bands having a substantial part in the running of the label – and for the first time the bands are all playing together for a show to celebrate the first year of the project. Lewis Sharman, Delicious Clam staple and Best Friends member, stated;
“The dream is that we will eventually all be able to be self sufficient, recording and releasing ourselves and our friends who wouldn’t have the facility to record otherwise.”
The ideas have so far been very fruitful, with Avida Dollars, Radical Boy, Fruit Bomb, The Mightees & Long Limbs recording and releasing from the studio in central Sheffield. The five bands will join Best Friends and some very special guests at the show.
