| NEWS | SEA CHANGE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES SECOND-WAVE OF ACTS |

The anticipated line-up for the inaugural Sea Change Festival began to take shape further on Thursday, as Drift Record Shop announced the second wave of acts that will be playing the Totnes Music & Arts festival across the August Bank-Holiday weekend.

Announced as part of the Heavenly-curated Friday line-up, TOY will bring their enigmatic Kraut-Psych to the Civic Hall as headliners – perhaps entertaining the possibility of playing their first new material since 2013’s ‘Join The Dots‘.

Joining the Brighton band on the Friday will be eclectic trio Yorkston / Thorne / Khan, who have released the highly praised ‘Everything Sacred‘ this month. Expect an compelling set from an criminally underrated troupe.

Wax favourites Ultimate Painting have also been announced, joining Friday night’s proceedings at the Civic Hall for what is set to be another encompassing set from Jack Cooper and James Hoare. They are also joined by Drag City’s Scottish Folk-maestro Alasdair Roberts, who released an essential self-titled record last year.

Finishing up the second wave of announcements is the analogue joys of Manchester Electronic producer Howes, who’s record ‘3.5 Degrees‘ is an early stand-out release of this year.

Sea Change Festival takes place in Totnes Town Centre and the surrounding area across the August Bank Holiday (26th & 27th August 2016). For ticket information, head here
