Sharply dressed five-piece Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs have revealed their first recorded output since the release of their
debut album ‘Clarietta‘ in the shape of the single ‘Evil Mothers‘.
The single, due to be released on 16th December, will include a cover of The Kinks‘ ‘Wicked Annabella’ and The Velvet Undergrounds’ ‘Sister Ray’ as Physical and Download B-Sides.
When we spoke to Charlie Boyer, guitarist and lead vocalist of the band, he expressed the influence The Velvet Underground had on him;
“I was about 14 or 15 when I got into The Velvet Underground and that’s when I decided I definitely wanted to be in a band. When I heard The Velvet Underground & Nico for the first time at about 15, that’s probably the moment I decided what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
The group’s next show is at The Old Blue Last in London on the 1st November with Temple Songs and Neon Windbreaker.
